Clerks Report CR-006-16, 2016 Pilot Parking Strategy – Open Parking conversion
to Permit Parking. The staff report set out the background material, the pilot
area (between Concession 8 West & Concession 12 West and west of the
Nippissing Ridge), staff resources, costs, communication plan, pilot evaluation
and necessary by-law amendments. Council received the below report and directed
staff to proceed with the 2016 Pilot Parking Program as set out in Resolution
#184/16 within the below attachment.

the April 11th, 2016 Committee of the Whole meeting Council reviewed
Clerks Report CR-009-16, 2016 Pilot Parking Program – Parking By-law Amendment.
The staff report set out the necessary by-law amendments to implement the
strategy. Additionally, the report included draft By-law 06-026 to recognize
the two new offences created.

The commenting period regarding the 2016 Pilot Parking Program closed on September 30th, 2016. All comments will be consolidated into a single document and provided to Council for their review and consideration at the November 1st, 2016 Committee of the Whole meeting.

At the November 1st, 2016 Committee of the Whole meeting Council reviewed Clerks Report CR-048-16, 2016 Pilot Parking Strategy Update - Open Parking Conversion to Permit Parking between Concessions 8- 12. For ease of reference, the report contained the originally proposed plan outlined in Clerk's Report CR-006-16 in Blue font which became the Approved Plan through Resolution #184/16. The corresponding Update for each section of the report was in black font. Council received the report and Approved Recommendation #132/16 recommending that the Pilot Parking Program be expanded to the entire Township in 2017 with staff to report back on the implications including signage, staffing, communication strategy and expansion area.
