FINANCIAL INFORMATION
The Township publishes the following financial information as a service to its ratepayers and other stakeholders.
2010 AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
The Municipal Act, 2001 Section 294.1 states that a municipality shall, for each fiscal year, prepare annual financial statements for the municipality in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles for local governments as recommended, from time to time, by the Public Sector Accounting Board of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. And that within 60 days after receiving the audited financial statements of the municipality for the previous year, the treasurer of the municipality, they will be made available at no cost to any taxpayer or resident of the municipality upon request.
2006-2010 MPMP MINISTER'S LIST
The Municipal Act, 2001 Section 294. (1) states that the treasurer of a municipality shall in each year provide the Minister with a return containing information designated by the Minister with respect to the financial affairs of the municipality, at the times and in the manner and form designated by the Minister. This return requires that current year Municipal Performance Measurements Program information be published on the municipal Website.
