Fire Department Organization
The Fire Department is divided into the following divisions:
Administration (Randy Smith, Fire Chief)
Plan, direct and coordinate all divisions of the Department.
Implementation of Administrative Systems.
Fire Marshal Reports
Emergency Planning
Ontario Fire Code and all other applicable legislation.
Documentation of all divisional activities
Maintain a current simplified risk assessment
Conduct periodic operational evaluations of all stations to evaluate the operational readiness/effectiveness of each station.
Public Relations.
Operations (Stephen Hall, Deputy Chief - Operations)
Day to day operations of all five stations
Operational readiness of the Fire Department
Implement, coordinate and direct all Fire Department Operating Guidelines
Ensure building pre-fire plans are current
Training (Michael Webb, Chief Training Officer)
Training of Firefighters to the Ontario Firefighters General Level Curriculum.
Fire Department training program
Research of up-to-date training material and innovative fire safety methods.
Training on specialized rescue (Ice/water, Vehicle Extrication, Confined Space Rescue).
Mechanical (Andy Drha, Chief Mechanical Officer)

Fleet Repairs
Preventative Maintenance of all auxiliary equipment
