Thank you to everyone who attended!

Tiny's Great Trail Event

Saturday, August 26, 2017

11:00am - 2:00pm

Wyevale Fire Station (817 County Road 6 S)

In partnership with the Tiny Fire & Emergency Services 4th Annual Family Fun Day.

Event Poster: Tiny's Great Trail Event

With the support of Trans Canada Trail and as part of Canada 150, Tiny hosted a celebration to mark the connection of The Great Trail across Canada.

The Great Trail finally connects us from coast to coast to coast. And it's a great place to get together. On August 26th, the Trails & Active Transportation Committee provided an opportunity for residents to celebrate, learn something new, grab some goodies and complete a Tiny Rail Trail Ticket to FUN!

More informaition on The Great Trail initative:
The Trans Canada Trail with support from Canadian Heritage fulfilled their goal to connect The Great Trail and the country for a grand celebration on August 26, 2017. Communities across Canada celebrated the full connection of The Great Trail and Canada’s 150th on the same date!

For more information about all the events that happened across Canada:

Trans Canada Trail: It began as a bold dream in 1992: the idea of creating a trail that would be a gift from Canadians to Canadians. Since then, TCT –
a not-for-profit organization – has been working with donors, partners, governments and volunteers to create The Great Trail; an epic trail of trails offering a wide range of outdoor experiences on both land and water routes. Every Canadian province and territory is home to its own stretch of The Great Trail, which is owned and operated at the local level. The TCT’s goal was to have The Great Trail connected from coast to coast to coast in 2017, for Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation celebrations.
