The Economic Development Corporation of North Simcoe (EDCNS) advocates as “one economic development voice" for the municipalities of Midland, Penetanguishene, Tay and Tiny (the Power of Four). Collaboration by knowledge sharing facilitates business investment.
Governance
EDCNS is a not-for-profit corporation governed by a Board of Directors which includes representation from each of the four municipal councils. Through ongoing commitment with the County of Simcoe, the four North Simcoe municipalities and our talented Board of Directors, our dedication empowers continued opportunity, growth and economic prosperity.
Mission
To promote and foster balanced sustainable economic growth in North Simcoe.

The EDCNS focus is on four key sectors: Advanced Manufacturing, Agribusiness, Healthcare, and Tourism (gbay.ca). The regional focus (Power of Four) reinforces initiatives to drive growth and improve the environment for producing and marketing goods and services from North Simcoe.
North Simcoe is a dynamic region in central Ontario that is well positioned for investment, growth and development. It offers business and investors a strategic location, talented workforce and high value for cost.
