(Tiny, Ontario) Each year, the Township of Tiny Bursary Program assists students who are entering their post-secondary education, including courses and training programs of a technical and vocational nature.
There are five bursaries available in the amount of $1,000 each. Children of permanent and seasonal taxpayers in the Township of Tiny are eligible to apply. Approved applicants are not based upon scholastic standing, but rather on the successful admission status to a post-secondary institution leading to a recognized degree, diploma, or certificate.
Applications must be submitted online no later than 4:30 p.m. on April 30, 2024 at www.tiny.ca/bursary/apply. Applications received after the due date will not be eligible.
Bursary applications are anonymously vetted by a selection committee and scored based on set criteria, consisting of the following four categories: volunteer experience, essay response, post-secondary education length, and completeness/comprehension.
"We are excited to open applications for the 2024 education bursary program,” said Mayor David Evans. “The township believes that by investing in our students’ education, we are also investing in our community. I encourage all of our eligible students entering post-secondary to apply for this bursary”.
The Township of Tiny wishes to make this process easy for applicants. For additional clarification or assistance with an application, please contact the township or visit www.tiny.ca/bursary.
