Sport Loaner Kits
Disc Golf is similar to traditional golf, however, instead of using golf clubs and balls aiming for a hole, players use frisbees and aim for a disc golf basket or target of your choice. It’s a fun and easy game that can be played by people of all ages! The scoring is similar to golf, with 1 point given to players for each throw until the target is reached. It can be played with friends and family in a non-competitive or tournament style game! Our disc golf kits come with 6 frisbees in the carrying bag.
Pickleball is a fun and easy sport that can be played by people of all ages and the Township of Tiny is happy to provide you with all the necessary equipment needed to run a fun game of pickleball! This kit comes with 4 pickleball racquets, 4 pickleballs, and a net that can be set up anywhere. It is perfect for a casual, after-work activity to get together with your friends and family or kids can also play it during a nice day outside. The game is similar to tennis, it is played over a short net where teams of 1 or 2 rally the ball within the court lines to try and score points. It is a casual version of tennis that does not involve as much force or running. We are happy to allow access to the tennis courts and multi purpose courts (when programs are not running) within the community to run a game or tournament with friends!
Tennis is a fun and active sport that can be played by people of all ages. Typically, tennis is played with 2 players on opposite sides of the court, who serve and rally for points. It can also be played 2 v 2 to incorporate more players. We offer a tennis kit containing 2 racquets and 6 tennis balls, as well as free access to all tennis courts within the township (when programs are not running), allowing for anytime gameplay with you and your friends or family! Tennis is a great way to get outside for activity while staying social within the community.
Bocce ball is a fun and social game that gets you and your family and friends together. Bocce ball is played by two teams of 1-4 players each, who compete against each other to throw bocce balls closest to the target. It is typically played on a court but can be played in any open grassy or sandy space. The game starts with the white target ball being thrown anywhere on the court, and players alternate throws, trying to get their colour of ball closest to the target. Similar to curling, you can knock out opponents’ balls where necessary.
Spin bikes are a great way to stay active and healthy throughout your workday! Our sit and spin bikes allow you to exercise while sitting at the comfort of your desk, with a portable sit and spin device that sits at your feet while you work. This activity is great for staying active throughout the day and keeping focused.
Get to know the game of soccer with our soccer loaner kit! This kit is packed with equipment and drills that will build your soccer skills and create hours of fun for you and your friends. This sport kit comes with 2 pop up nets that can be set up on any field or open space, 5 big soccer balls, 5 little soccer balls, and pylons to practice your skills! We welcome you to use any of Tiny's soccer pitches (when programs are not running) to set up and play or set up in your backyard for anytime use. We hope this resource helps you stay active and fosters your love for the game!
Horseshoes is a fun and easy lawn game to get you and your family out of the house in the summer! It is played between two people (or two teams of a few people) using horseshoes and throwing at the target set in a sandy or grassy area. The game is played by players alternating throws at the target and competing to see who can make it closest to the stake! The township's horseshoe kit comes with 4 horseshoes (2 of each colour) and 2 stakes that can be placed in any grassy area. This game is a great casual activity for you and your family and friends to use whenever you please.
Serve up some fun with our Volleyball Sport Loaner Kit! Each kit includes a volleyball, a net, and a convenient carrying bag—perfect for casual games at the beach, park, or backyard. Please note that poles are not included, so you’ll need to bring your own or use at an existing court. Ideal for families, friends, or community events, this kit makes it easy to get active and enjoy the game. Borrow one today and bump, set, spike your way into some outdoor fun!
