You can request a program refund, withdrawal, or transfer by contacting the Recreation & Culture Department.
Refunds will be issued to the original payee. Cash, cheque and debit payments will be refunded by cheque and online payments will be refunded to the original card. Please allow up to 6 weeks to receive your refund.
At least 2 weeks prior to the start date: A full credit on your account or refund less a 5% processing fee if you request with at least 2 weeks notice before the start of the program.
Less than 2 weeks prior to the start date: Half the program fee as a credit on your account or half the program fee less a 5% processing fee with less than 2 weeks notice before the start of the program.
Within 24 hours of the start date: No refund or credit.
A full or prorated refund or credit with no processing fee if the Township cancels a program due to weather, low registration or for an unforeseen circumstance.
Camp Programs: If you withdraw and another participant can be moved into the program from the waitlist, you may receive a full or prorated refund or credit with no processing fee.
Fitness Programs: If you withdraw before the third session, you may receive a prorated credit on your account or refund less a 5% processing fee.
Medical Exceptions: If you can no longer attend the program due to medical reasons, you will receive a prorated credit or full refund if you provide a medical certificate for the applicable dates.
