Each year, the Township of Tiny Bursary Program assists students who are entering their post-secondary education, including courses and training programs of a technical and vocational nature.
There are five bursaries available in the amount of $1,000 each. Children of permanent and seasonal taxpayers in the Township of Tiny are eligible to apply. Approved applicants are not based upon scholastic standing, but rather on the successful admission status to a post-secondary institution leading to a recognized degree, diploma, or certificate.
The 2024 applications were due on 4:30 p.m. on April 30, 2024.
Be notified about application releases and deadlines by subscribing to Youth Services on Tiny Connect, the Township's free notification system.
Bursary applications are anonymously vetted by a Selection Committee and scored based on set criteria, consisting of the following four categories: volunteer experience, essay response, post-secondary education length, and completeness/comprehension.
The Township of Tiny wishes to make this process easy for applicants. If you require additional clarification or assistance with your application, please contact the township.
