Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee (PRAC) is responsible for the implementation of the Township of Tiny Parks and Recreation Master Plan and the Trails and Active Transportation Master Plan. The PRAC will recommend the yearly priorities and present the projects, along with cost estimates for those projects for staff to detail and confirm for the presentation to Council. The PRAC will work proactively to promote trails, parks, recreation, and healthy active living initiatives in the Township of Tiny. The PRAC will establish an education and promotional strategy for trails and active transportation in the Township and will work proactively to promote trails use and non-motorized transportation in the Township.

The Committee’s composition is to be comprised of six (6) non-elected members and one (1) elected member. Staff resources include the Director of Public Works or designate, the Director of Recreation or designate, the Senior Planner or designate, and the Accessibility Coordinator as required.
