Zoning By-law 06-001

Zoning By-law 06-001 Enacted by Council: January 9, 2006
The Zoning By-law is the Township’s primary tool to regulate the use of land in the municipality. The Zoning By-law divides all land in the Township into various zone categories (e.g., residential, agricultural, commercial, industrial) and establishes what uses are permitted and identifies standards to direct the location, massing and height of buildings and structures on a lot. The Zoning By-law must, in accordance with the Planning Act, conform to the Township’s Official Plan.
