In 2021 the Township retained MHBC Planning, a planning consulting firm, to undertake this project with the Township's Planning & Development Department. As a result Zoning By-law 22-075 was approved on October 12, 2022.
Throughout this project a number of opportunities were provided to residents, business owners, and associations to participate in the process:
- An online survey was conducted in June 2021 seeking input and comments on the issues and directions identified in the background review.
- Two Public Information Sessions/Open Houses were held in order to provide feedback on the development of the New Tiny Zoning By-law.
- A Public Meeting was held in August 2022, which is a statutory requirement in accordance with the Planning Act.
