The purpose of the Ad Hoc Citizen's Committee on Council Remuneration is to:
- Examine the current level of remuneration for members of Council in the Township of Tiny.
- Use a list of comparator municipalities to examine compensation packages and make recommendations to Council in respect to an appropriate level of compensation for members.
- To consider for examination: salary, benefits, training, travel and vehicle allowances, and other miscellaneous items.
- To report to the Township of Tiny Council on findings and firm recommendation(s) in accordance with its mandate as a result of the comprehensive review at the Committee of the Whole meeting in the 2nd quarter of 2025.
The Ad Hoc Citizen’s Committee on Council Remuneration shall remain in effect until it provides a report to Council in 2025, then it will be dissolved.
