Alert Ready
Alert Ready is Canada’s emergency alerting system. Alert Ready delivers critical and potentially life-saving alerts to Canadians through television, radio and LTE-connected and compatible wireless devices.
The alerts will be accompanied by a distinctive tone that will be played prior to the emergency messaging. If you hear this tone, make sure you pay attention. Alternate formats are available in some cases. Listen to the tone here.
