Available to Tiny residents!
Friendly Calls Program:
Volunteers provide regular calls to seniors who feel isolated in their homes, for security checks, and social contact. If you are a senior, or if you know a senior, who is feeling isolated, please reach out and we can arrange a volunteer to offer check-in phone calls.
Friendly (Virtual) Visiting:
A volunteer program that brings friendships, company, and appropriate activities to elderly or isolated people in need of a friend.
This program is administered by the Canadian Red Cross, and the Township of Tiny does not own or manage the online platform. However, the Township encourages residents to register as users or volunteers.
Call 1-833-979-9779 toll-free from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time on weekdays or visit redcross.ca/friendlycalls to sign up, refer someone who could benefit from Friendly Calls or to become a volunteer.
The Friendly Calls program is safe, accessible, free, and available nationwide.
