The purpose of a Planning Public Meeting is to inform the public of the nature of the proposal, invite public input, and answer questions regarding the application.
Deputations are now in person, however, if you wish to appear virtually, you must pre-register with the Planning & Development Department by 4:30 p.m. on Monday before the meeting. You will need a computer with suitable internet access, a microphone, and a webcam to participate virtually. Open Deputations to Council
For individuals wishing to comment on a Planning Application being addressed at the Planning Public Meeting, time will be allotted for Open Deputations under each application. Open deputations are limited to 5 minutes. PowerPoint presentations are not permitted for Open Deputations and individuals are responsible for providing copies of handouts, if applicable. The Township does not provide copying services.

Scheduled Deputations
Scheduled Deputations are typically reserved for the owner and/or agent who submitted the Planning Application(s) being addressed at the Planning Public Meeting. If this applies to you, please complete the Deputation Request Form (PDF).
Scheduled Deputation Request forms and all accompanying material (such as a PowerPoint) must be received no later than noon the Tuesday the week prior to the meeting. Scheduled Deputations are limited to 10 minutes. Please review the requirements and guidelines included in the Deputation Request Form for complete details.
Correspondence to Council
Written submissions in support of, or in opposition to a Planning Application(s) being addressed at the Planning Public Meeting can be submitted to Cathryne Mullowney, Planning Administrative Coordinator via email at cmullowney@tiny.ca or by mail or municipal office drop box at 130 Balm Beach Road West, Tiny, Ontario, L0L 2J0. Please specify if you wish to have your comments included in the public meeting agenda.
Written submissions are requested to be submitted by noon on the Tuesday prior to the scheduled Planning Public Meeting for inclusion in the agenda.
Planning Public Meeting agendas are published online. When providing a written submission to the Township, please be aware that your comments together with your name and address may be included in the agenda and may subsequently appear online.
