Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program
The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is designed to equip youth with foundational skills in camp operations, program planning, and employability. Participants will engage in a variety of activities that teach the basics of camp management, how to plan engaging programs, and essential resume-building techniques. This program aims to foster leadership and community involvement in a fun, safe, and social environment. Upon completion, participants will be invited to volunteer at Tiny's Summer Day Camps, where they can apply their newly acquired skills.
Counselor-in-Training Plus (CIT Plus) Program
The Counselor-in-Training Plus (CIT Plus) program offers advanced training for youth who have completed the CIT program or are looking for more comprehensive preparation. This program includes certification in HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Childhood Development and Standard First-Aid with CPR-C/AED. These certifications are crucial for ensuring the safety and well-being of campers. Like the CIT program, CIT Plus also emphasizes leadership development and community contribution. Graduates of this program will be well-prepared to join the Tiny Summer Day Camp staff team and take on more significant responsibilities.
