Recreation Youth Programs Registration

The Township of Tiny offers programs and activities aimed at promoting physical literacy while providing opportunities for youth to get to know each other, go on adventures, volunteer in their community, and learn new skills! All programs involving youth in the Township follow the same 7 Developmental Needs of Youth guidelines.

Youth Day Trips

Have fun hanging out with your friends or make brand-new ones while visiting different locations and active adventures. Fee includes transportation to and from activities, admission costs, and a meal.

Counselor in Training Programs

The Counselor in Training (CIT) and Counselor in Training Plus (CIT Plus) programs provide youth with opportunities to contribute to the community while developing leadership skills in a fun, safe and social environment.

Throughout their training week (July 4th to 8th, Wyevale Park), professional development opportunities will provide youth with the tools and knowledge needed to volunteer at Tiny’s Summer Day Camps. After completion, youth will be invited back to volunteer in one of the various Day Camps.

Counselor in Training (CIT)

Youth in the standard program will learn the basics of camp, program planning, and resume building & employability.

Counselor in Training Plus (CIT Plus)

Youth in the graduated Plus program will receive their HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Childhood Development and Standard First-Aid CPR-C/AED certifications, both required in order to join the Tiny Summer Day Camp staff team.
