As of January 1, 2026, residential recycling collection in Simcoe County is managed by Circular Materials, a not-for-profit organization appointed under Ontario’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) program. This change is part of a province-wide initiative to streamline recycling services and shift responsibility from municipalities to producers.
Residential Collection Day: No change to your scheduled day or carts.
As part of this change, industrial, commercial and institutional properties (e.g., small businesses, churches) will no longer receive curbside recycling collection via the Provincial contractor.
Please note: This change is not a decision made by the County or the Township of Tiny and was made at a Provincial level.
