Mayor's Charity Golf Tournament Working Committee

The Council of The Corporation of the Township of Tiny extends an invitation to those residents interested in serving on the Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament Working Committee (3 vacancies).

The purpose of the Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament Working Committee (MCGTWC) is to plan, coordinate and implement the Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament with tournament proceeds supporting local charities. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and residents of the Township of Tiny. 

The Committee is comprised of up to five (5) non-elected members, the Mayor, and the Deputy Mayor. Staff Resources include The Director of Recreation and Special Events and the Special Events and Volunteer Coordinator. The Committee meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 4:30 p.m.

Members shall be appointed based on the following skills and/or knowledge:

  • Interest in supporting the delivery of community events
  • Keen interest and/or knowledge of fundraising strategies
  • Past experience or involvement in fundraising and organizing events
  • Willingness to participate in the planning and execution of the tournament
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Completed application forms can be submitted by Noon on Friday, September 19, 2025, to Meaghan Eisbrenner, Committee Administrative Coordinator, either by email at meisbrenner@tiny.ca or by mail/drop-off at the Township of Tiny Office, 130 Balm Beach Road West, Tiny, ON, L0L 2J0. 

The appointees will undergo a comprehensive onboarding and training program prior to attending a meeting. Personal information collected will only be used for candidate selection, in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act R.S.O., 1990, c.M.56.
