Township of Tiny Events and Charities Committee (formerly Mayor's Charity Golf Tournament Working Committee)

At its Regular Meeting of Council on November 19, 2025, Council approved By-law 25-062, being a by-law to amend By-law 22-087, to revise The Mayor's Charity Golf Tournament Working Committee Terms of Reference. The amendment reflects the Committee's expanded scope, strategic direction, and enhanced community engagement mandate. It also reflects the Committee's name change to the Township of Tiny Events and Charities Committee. 

The Township of Tiny Events and Charities Committee serves as an advisory and coordinating body that provides strategic guidance and recommendations to Council on charitable initiatives and community events throughout the year. Building upon the success of the Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament, the Committee’s expanded role includes exploring and supporting new fundraising opportunities, cultivating partnerships with volunteers, residents, community groups, and businesses, and enhancing the Township’s community engagement through inclusive, high-impact events.
