Fore…! The Township of Tiny is teeing up once again to host the Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament and is thrilled to announce that our 8th annual tournament will be held on June 17, 2022, at the Orr Lake Golf Club.

“Since 2015, the Golf Tournament has raised over $310,000 for more than 20 local charitable organizations, in support of their services to improve our community’s health and wellness,” said Mayor Cornell. “Please join us in making this year’s tournament the best one yet!"

This year’s fundraising goal of $50,000 will directly benefit the following organizations:

In addition, in partnership with Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church (located in Tiny), $10,000 of the funds raised will go to aid humanitarian efforts supporting those impacted by the crisis in Ukraine. Lives are being turned upside down by war, leaving millions of people in need of urgent help.

The Township would again like to recognize The Tiny Cottager, published by the Federation of Tiny Township Shoreline Associations, as this year’s Founding Sponsor. Paul Cowley, President of FoTTSA, noted, “We are proud to support community initiatives like this tournament which help so many in our area.”

Funding Applications

The Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament’s primary goal is to provide funding for local not-for-profit organizations from the revenues generated through the golf tournament.​​​
