Earth Week: Planet vs. Plastics

This year, we rally behind the theme of "Planet vs. Plastics," a worldwide initiative calling upon individuals, businesses, and organizations to join forces in a steadfast commitment to champion the cause of human and planetary health by advocating for the eradication of plastics. This year’s theme calls for a 60% reduction in plastic production by 2040, with a visionary aim of crafting a plastic-free future for the prosperity of future generations. (Source: EARTHDAY.ORG).

Township of Tiny Town Hall Meeting

The Township of Tiny Town Hall Meeting will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Township of Tiny Community Centre (91 Concession Rd 8 E, Tiny, ON L0L 2J0). 

The Town Hall Meeting will provide residents with the opportunity to meet with the Mayor and Council to discuss Township-wide initiatives that are important to them. Residents can ask questions, engage with Council, and provide feedback regarding Township projects and initiatives.

 

2023 Mayor's Charity Golf Tournament

Fore…! The Township of Tiny is teeing up once again to host the Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament and is thrilled to announce that our 9th annual tournament will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at the Brooklea Golf & County Club.

Since 2015, the Golf Tournament initiative has raised over $365,000 for more than 35 local charitable organizations, in support of their services to improve our community’s health and wellness.

Wyevale Santa Claus Parade

The Wyevale Santa Claus Parade returns to the Township of Tiny to spark the Christmas spirit.

Starting at 7:00pm, catch magical appearances of Santa and Mrs. Claus, in addition to many colourful floats sponsored by local businesses, organizations, and individuals. Join the Township of Tiny Recreation Department at the Wyevale United Church (846 County Road 6 South, Tiny) for complimentary goodies and hot refreshments.

Donations for local food banks will be accepted at the Wyevale United Church (846 County Road 6 South, Tiny) on event day.

2022 Mayor's Charity Golf Tournament

Fore…! The Township of Tiny is teeing up once again to host the Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament and is thrilled to announce that our 8th annual tournament will be held on June 17, 2022, at the Orr Lake Golf Club.

“Since 2015, the Golf Tournament has raised over $310,000 for more than 20 local charitable organizations, in support of their services to improve our community’s health and wellness,” said Mayor Cornell. “Please join us in making this year’s tournament the best one yet!"

Get ready for active, indoor fun with our Indoor Laser Tag Adventure, proudly provided by Wasaga Adventure Park. This family-friendly experience brings the excitement of laser tag into a safe, supervised indoor setting that’s perfect for kids, teens, and adults.

Players use modern laser tag equipment that fires a harmless infrared beam (similar to a TV remote), making it a clean and safe activity for all participants. Games are fast-paced and run in short rounds, with a new game starting every 10 minutes, keeping the experience energetic and engaging.
