How can you tell a Blandings from a Musk Turtle? What's the average lifespan of a snapping turtle? Do turtles actually "freeze"?

Learn about turtle identification, fun facts, habitat and ongoing conservation efforts in Ontario. During this dynamic two-hour workshop you will:

  • Hike through the forest and across the berm
  • Kayak through the marsh
  • Put your new skills to the test

Cost: $20.00 per person + HST

Who: Ages 10 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult

What to bring: Sturdy footwear and/ or water shoes, layered clothing, camera, binoculars & field guides can be helpful. This experience will be entirely outdoors, so please dress for the weather!

All kayaking equipment will be provided. Rain date Saturday, July 29.
