In order to protect the vast tree canopy and vegetation throughout the township, the Township of Tiny created the Protection and Enhancement of Tree Canopy and Natural Vegetation policy which outlines what the township and partnering organizations are doing to protect the tree canopy and vegetation within Tiny.

Municipal property is intended for shared public use; however, individuals, organizations and/or contractors may occasionally require the exclusive use of municipal property for commercial filming.

In order to allow individuals/organizations to have access to and use of municipal property while protecting the integrity of the land and the interest of the public, the Township of Tiny established the Commercial Filming on Municipal Property Policy which outlines the process granting permission to film on municipal property as well as what is permitted when doing so.

To be granted permission to film on municipal property the individual/ organization must apply by submitting a Commercial Filming Application Form to the Public Works Department.

Fees may be applicable depending on filming and insurance requirements

The trails are monitored twice a week throughout the Summer months.

The Tiny Trail is a shared-use trail and permits a wide variety of uses. Snowmobiles are permitted to use the trail by permit only during the Winter months, while all other motorized vehicles including cars, ATVs, dirt bikes, and all other forms of ORVs are not permitted on the trail as per Bylaw 14-076​.

Noxious weeds, such as poison ivy, that grow alongside the trail are sprayed during the summer.

1. Enter and use at own risk. The Township of Tiny assumes no responsibility or liability for any injury or damage to persons, property, or animal, arising from or in connection with the use of the dog park. 
2. The dog park is provided for people and their dogs. No other animals are permitted. 
3. The dog park will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Limited maintenance is provided between October 31st and May 1st.
4. All dogs remain the responsibility of the person in charge of the canine and their owners. Dog owners may be prosecuted and held liable for all damages and injuries as set out in the Dog Owner's Liability Act. R.S.O 1990. 
5. All dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the dog park and while enjoying other open space areas outside of the dog park enclosures. 
6. All dogs must have a current dog tag affixed to the dog at all times. 
7. No person shall have more than two dogs within the dog park enclosure. 
8. No person shall leave a dog unattended in a dog park enclosure or fail to have a leash ready for each dog. 
9. No person shall fail to immediately pick up and dispose of their dog's feces in the disposal bins provided. 
10. Dogs are not allowed to chase people or wildlife and may not dig up fencing. Dog owners or handlers must fill any holes or divots dug by their dogs. 
11. No people food, breakables, spiked or chain linked collars are permitted in the dog park enclosure.
12. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the dog park enclosure.
13. No person can use the dog park to conduct their business unless the said activity is approved by the Township of Tiny. 
14. All dog bites must be reported to Animal Control. 
15. Pit Bull type dogs must be leashed and muzzled at all times pursuant to the amended Dog Owner's Liability Act, R.S.O 1990. Leash-free enclosures are not exempt from the Act. Pit Bull owners are liable to fines of up to $10,000 and imprisonment for up to 6 months for all contraventions. 
16. Violations of dog park rules may result in fines, loss of the dog park privileges, or other punitive measures.
