What's up with Healthcare?

Healthcare is in the news almost every day. Waiting times for emergency visits and surgical procedures have skyrocketed, many have no access to a family physician, healthcare staffing levels are at critical levels and there is limited access to home care services. Some refer to healthcare as a crisis or collapse and call for innovative and fundamental changes! These issues and more are at the top of all Ontarians minds.

Dr. Rose Zacharias has been a family physician in our area for over 20 years. She is a parent of four children and is the current President of the Ontario Medical Association. She understands today’s challenges. During our 90 minutes together on December 14, Dr Zacharias has kindly agreed to discuss her viewpoint with the audience and answer questions from three local community leaders and others.
