OSPCA's "A Victorian Christmas" Gift and Craft Show

There will be 24 amazing local vendors selling crafts and gifts ranging from stained glass, woodwork, pottery, jewelry and much more! There will also be raffles and refreshments, with all event proceeds helping animals in need in our community.

Tickets: $5 in advance, $6 at the door. Tickets are available at The Pebble Tree, The Catnip Dispensary and The Midland & District Animal Centre.

Butter Tart Cycle Trail 2023

Get active, support local, and eat delicious butter tarts! The 2023 Butter Tart Cycle Trail will take place September 9 and 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. The Ontario's Best Butter Tart inspired cycling trail goes throughout North Simcoe and is in partnership with the County of Simcoe and Cycle Simcoe. Using the map, you can bike along the route to the locations selling butter tarts and butter tart inspired items such as scones, milkshakes and other delicious creations!

Truth and Reconciliation Day Event

Join us at the Midland Community Health Hub for the Annual Truth and Reconciliation event to honour the Indigenous culture through music, art, and dance!



The opening ceremony will commence at 9AM with the lighting of the sacred fire, a smudge prayer, drumming and inspiring words about the significance of this important day, as we collectively strive for a future of reconciliation.

Participate in a variety of educational activities and expand your understanding of Indigenous history, traditions, and culture.

Art Slam

A battle of the brushes where artists compete, spectators cheer and one talented winner is chosen!



Quest Art School + Gallery is excited to host the 5th Annual Art Slam. Art Slam is a battle of the brushes that invites 24 artists to produce their best painting.



The night will consist of two 25-minute rounds followed by the finals where the top 4 artists will compete for our final prize of $500. And the best part: all ticket holders will have a chance to vote for their favorite painting.



Discover Aviation Day

The Huronia Airport and the Canadian Owners and Pilot Association of Midland are holding a Discover Aviation day! The program is intended to give youth residing in Tiny, Midland, and the Penetanguishene area that are ages 8+ an introduction to aviation by offering a free 15 minute flight over the Georgian Bay area. 

Spaces are limited. The rain date is September 10, 2023.
