Black Witch's Butter? Devil's Urn? Deadly Galerina and Poison Pie?

Join us for a fascinating 2 hour workshop, shining the spotlight on deadly sac fungi, jelly fungi, gilled mushrooms, slime molds and parasitic plants growing at Wye Marsh. Learn about their ecological roles, and the incredible communication networks they form. Enjoy a guided tour and make your own "spore print" to take home!

Cost: $20.00 per person + HST

Who: Ages 10 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult

Let the sweet sounds of acoustic guitars,  fiddles, and ukuleles lead you along the trails for a magical night at Wye Marsh. This fundraising event features FIVE local acts, and tickets are just $25 a piece!

Plus, all money raised supports trail maintenance, conservation projects and environmental education programs at Wye Marsh.

All Things Canadian is an outdoor festival that will celebrate our heritage and culture and our homecoming, gathering local residents, surrounding communities and visitors from across Ontario to celebrate who we are as Canadians.  The event will focus on various activities, live music, food and entertainment that will bring together our local cultures of Francophone, Anglophone and Indigenous, celebrating years of history in Penetanguishene, Ontario and Canada.

Bring a friend and head out on a short road trip, visiting some or all of the 12 gardens on this year's Georgian Bay Garden Tour! Gather great ideas, tips and advice for your own garden. Tickets are $25 each with the proceeds going to support Hospice Huronia's community programs and Tomkins House, their hospice home for end-of-life care.

Each ticket consists of a brochure/map and a wristband.  Wristbands are mandatory in order to enter the garden.

Every child matters. The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation at Sainte-Marie will begin with a ceremony honouring survivors of residential schools. On this day of reflection and commemoration, the site’s historical interpreters will not be in costume. This is an opportunity to listen and learn as we all continue the journey of truth and reconciliation. Indigenous speakers and knowledge keepers will help educate guests and build cultural understanding.
