La Meute culturelle de Lafontaine is getting everything lined up for a great 19th edition of Le Festival du loup! The Festival will kick off on Saturday, July 15th, at 10 a.m. with our annual Tractor Parade.
Following the Tractor Parade, make your way to Lafontaine Park, where a variety of local artists will await! You'll also have the chance to bid on a painted wolf and discover our many "legend of the wolf"-related activities for young and old!
The operating room is an intense fast-paced space in a hospital. It is an area where highly trained and skilled medical personnel work to save lives and improve our health through complex procedures. Our program will present an inside look at how the operating room functions.
This is an introductory watercolour painting class. Participants can be inspired by the blossoms and new life all around us at Wye Marsh. Learn basic techniques, and a few tips and tricks, that spark your creativity. No matter your level of skill, you are welcome to share an afternoon of discovery.
Ideas and compositions will be relevant to artists of all skill levels. All materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you would like. You need only bring your enthusiasm!
The Marsh by Moonlight Paddle Series features a guided voyageur style canoe tour through the sparkling moonlight waters of the Wye Marsh. Twinkling voyageur canoes and boardwalk, night noises, Bannock roasted over the open fire accompanied with a hot drink will make for an unforgettable night!

Spend a tranquil afternoon, working with leather and creating your own medicine pouch while learning about the Anishinaabe culture. Then follow our Instructors for a walk along Wye Marsh trails to learn about traditional medicinal plants, and enjoy some cedar tea.
Intro to Beekeeping Workshop

Join resident bird expert, Mak Soden, for an exclusive early morning two-hour birding excursion at Wye Marsh. With Mak as your guide, you will have access to this National Wildlife Area two hours before the gates are unlocked for visitors. Together you will: greet the morning chorus; identify bird calls; see songbirds, waterfowl, and raptors; and take in the wonders of the marsh.
Toanche Park Co-ed Softball Registration is now taking place. Players ages 5-20. Toanche is located at 771 Champlain Road, Tiny. Play as part of Georgian Bay Minor Softball. Deadline to register is April 4, 2022.
