The relentless barrage of negative news, which has dramatically increased in recent years, has an impact on our thinking, behavior and emotions. Trying to strike a balance between being informed by news media and not becoming overwhelmed is a daily challenge. Whether exposed actively or unintentionally, a constant consumption of negative news can elevate a person’s stress level and trigger symptoms like anxiety, anger, discouragement and even sleeping disorders.

This is an introductory watercolour painting class. Participants can be inspired by the blossoms and new life all around us at Wye Marsh. Learn basic techniques, and a few tips and tricks, that spark your creativity. No matter your level of skill, you are welcome to share an afternoon of discovery with Lisa.
Ideas and compositions will be relevant to artists of all skill levels. All materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you would like. You need only bring your enthusiasm!
