Come Dine with ComPasta Place - Community Spaghetti Dinner

Join us for a family-friendly event with spaghetti dinner, an auction, and live music with The 8th Line! Serving spaghetti with meat sauce (meatless and gluten-free options available), fresh roll, caesar salad, dessert, and drink!

  • $15 per person
  • $25 per couple 
  • $40 for a family of four (kids under 12)

All proceeds go to Compassion Place.

Annual Winter Ski/Wheel Fly-In

COPA Flight #73 is planning on hosting a Ski/Wheel Fly-In on Saturday, February 11th (9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)

  • Free Admission
  • Food will be onsite (Peameal on a bun, chili and hot coffee) Proceeds to local COPA Flight #73
  • Ski Planes may land on the snow on the west side of runway 16/34

The relentless barrage of negative news, which has dramatically increased in recent years, has an impact on our thinking, behavior and emotions.  Trying to strike a balance between being informed by news media and not becoming overwhelmed is a daily challenge.  Whether exposed actively or unintentionally, a constant consumption of negative news can elevate a person’s stress level and trigger symptoms like anxiety, anger, discouragement and even sleeping disorders.

Watercolour Painting

This is an introductory watercolour painting class. Participants can be inspired by the blossoms and new life all around us at Wye Marsh. Learn basic techniques, and a few tips and tricks, that spark your creativity. No matter your level of skill, you are welcome to share an afternoon of discovery with Lisa.

Ideas and compositions will be relevant to artists of all skill levels. All materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you would like. You need only bring your enthusiasm!

Spring Inspired Stone Carving

Take in a Wye Marsh Birds of Prey Show at 1 pm. Find your inspiration. Let your imagination soar like an eagle. Hold ancient stone in your hands, and carve away the excess, to reveal the beauty within.
