(Tiny, Ontario) Over the period of August 16 to 18, Township of Tiny By-law Officers were on full patrol responding to calls ranging from roadside debris, noise, and clean yards.

Township By-law Officers patrolled 232km throughout the municipality via bicycles. A total of 39 complaints were responded to for various concerns.
Roadside Debris
Please be reminded that roadside debris (i.e. broken chairs, old furniture and tables, old BBQ, scrap metal, etc.) is not permitted on the road allowance as there is no free pickup. Items that are left on the roadside will be issued a Yellow Sticker requiring their removal within 72 hours. Items remaining after 72 hours may be picked up by Township of Tiny Staff, disposed of and a Non-Compliant Waste Service Fee of $180 will be applied.
Residents are encouraged to take waste to the County of Simcoe’s North Simcoe Transfer Station, 1700 Golf Link Road, Midland, (Monday – Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.). Alternatively, residents can participate in the County’s Bulky Item program. Beach Reminders regarding Dogs
A reminder to the community that as per By-law #02-115, as amended, dogs are prohibited on Balm Beach between June 1 and September 30. Additionally, a reminder that as per By-law #19-040 dogs are prohibited on Cawaja Beach, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., between June 15 and September 15.

Waitlist Application for a Short-Term Rental Licence
Short-Term Rental Licence applications are being accepted until a total of 300 applications have been received. Once 300 licence applications have been received, the application process will be closed until the number of licences issued falls below the 300-limit set out in By-law 22-017, as amended. A waitlist has been implemented to determine the priority in which new applications will be received.
