(Tiny, Ontario) Over the period of August 4 to 7, Township By-law Officers were on full patrol responding to calls ranging from noise, short-term rentals, open air burning, and illegal parking complaints.
Township By-law Officers patrolled 366 km throughout the municipality via bicycles. A total of 78 complaints were responded to for various concerns. By-law Officers also issued 142 parking tickets for illegally parked vehicles. For current parking regulations visit www.tiny.ca/parking.
Noise Control By-law
The Township of Tiny would like to remind the community that Noise Control By-law #21-028, Section 3.1 states: “No person shall emit or cause or permit the emission of noise resulting from activity listed in Schedule “A” if clearly audible at a point of reception.” The following are two examples of complaints commonly reported to the municipality:

Waitlist Application for a Short-Term Rental Licence
Short-Term Rental Licence applications are being accepted until a total of 300 applications have been received. Once 300 licence applications have been received, the application process will be closed until the number of licences issued falls below the 300 limit set out in By-law 22-017, as amended.
As the Township of Tiny approaches the 300 licence limit, a waitlist has been implemented to determine the priority in which new applications will be received.
