Fire Hazard Rating: Moderate
The Fire Ban for the Township of Tiny has been lifted. The current fire hazard rating is moderate.
A moderate danger rating means forest fuels and ground vegetation are drying and there is an increased risk of surface fires starting. Open air burning is permitted by permit only. View the current rating at www.tiny.ca/FireRating.
Those having outdoor fires should exercise caution and always have a means of extinguishing the fire readily available. All open air burning requires a permit. Permits can be purchased at the Township Office (130 Balm Beach Road West), online at www.tiny.ca/FirePermit or at several local businesses listed on our website.
