Temporary Road Closure – Baseline Road, north of Concession Road 6 and south of Concession Road 8

TAKE NOTICE that Baseline Road will be temporarily closed between north of Concession Road 6, and south of Concession Road 8 for work on a culvert replacement project. The road will be closed from 7:00am to 6:00pm on August 27, 2024, and will be inaccessible for northbound and southbound traffic.

To help ensure the safety of workers and the traveling public, the closure will be in place for the duration of the project. Access to residences and businesses on Baseline Road will be maintained during the closure. Detour routes will be set up and advanced warning signs will be installed on to warn motorists of the road closure.

Detour routes will be as follows:

• Southbound traffic will be stopped at Concession 8 and redirected east to Marshall Road.
• Northbound traffic will be stopped at Concession 6 and redirected west to County Road 6 North.
• 7th Concession will be stopped and redirected north to Ellery Sideroad.

All drivers are reminded to be safe, follow signage instructions and speed limits, and use caution when driving through the construction zone. If possible, drivers are advised to avoid the area while closures are in place.
