The Significant Weather Event declared on January 2, 2026, is now lifted

(Tiny, Ontario) The Township of Tiny is pleased to advise that the Significant Weather Event declaration that was announced on January 2, 2026, has been lifted.

The township will now revert back to the requirements detailed in the Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways under Ontario Regulation 239/02.

Please note that with rain in the forecast and warmer temperatures over the next couple days, significant snow melting is likely. Ensure downspouts are clear from snow and ice, and prepare for potential localized flooding.
