Toanche Park baseball diamond to be renamed in honour of dedicated volunteer, Larry Patenaude

The community is invited to the official renaming ceremony of the Toanche Park baseball diamond hosted by Township of Tiny Council and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee in honour of a dedicated baseball volunteer, Larry Patenaude. The ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Toanche Park at the baseball diamond, rain or shine.

The event will feature a sign unveiling, renaming the Toanche Park baseball diamond as the “Toanche Park Larry Patenaude Baseball Diamond” to recognize their work in establishing the local baseball community in Toanche. Mr. Patenaude was instrumental in the creation of the baseball diamonds and team play, marking the importance of their contributions to the community.
