(Tiny, Ontario) Please be advised that the Township of Tiny approved the new Tiny Zoning By-law 22-075 on October 12, 2022. Until the appeal period for the new By-law is over on November 16, 2022, and once any appeals have been disposed of, both new Zoning By-law 22-075 and the previous Zoning By-law 06-001 as amended will be deemed in force and effect for the review of all planning and building applications and the most restrictive regulation shall apply.
The Zoning By-law is the Township’s primary tool to regulate the use of land in the municipality. The Zoning By-law divides all land in the Township into various zone categories (e.g., residential, agricultural, commercial, industrial) and establishes what uses are permitted, and identifies standards to direct the location, massing, and height of buildings and structures on a lot. The Zoning By-law must, in accordance with the Planning Act, conform to the Township’s Official Plan.
