Township of Tiny Heritage Advisory Committee to host Heritage Social Event

(Tiny, Ontario) The Township of Tiny’s Heritage Advisory Committee is hosting a free Heritage Social Event on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Join us for a fun afternoon at the Township of Tiny Community Centre located at 91 Concession Road 8, East.

This event is a drop-in opportunity to record stories of the township’s past, document/scan historical photographs for preservation in the township’s archival boxes, and reminisce with other residents while enjoying some light refreshments. All visitors are encouraged to bring their historical photographs, artifacts, and memorabilia.

“The Heritage Social is a unique opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the rich history and culture of Tiny,” said Mayor Evans.

The Township of Tiny’s Heritage Advisory Committee maintains an archival collection to preserve, advance, and disseminate information about Tiny’s history.
