(Tiny, Ontario) The Township of Tiny is expanding our charitable reach by hosting two tournaments to support local charities and not-for-profits in 2026. In June, we will be hosting our 16th Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament followed by a brand-new Pickleball Charity Tournament in August. Proceeds from both events will be distributed to local charities across North Simcoe.
Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament
The Township of Tiny’s 16th Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Orr Lake Golf Club. Registration is now open! Since the first tournament, over $517,000 has been raised in support of more than 40 local charities.
There are several ways you can get involved:
Register as a golfer
The cost for a foursome is 800 (plus service fees). Golfers can register as pairs or foursomes. Single participants should contact the township to be paired. Registration includes an 11:30 a.m. shotgun start, an 18-hole round of golf with a lunch and buffet dinner, silent auction and raffle draws, as well as competitions and prizes on the course. Spaces in this tournament are limited, and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Sponsor
The Township of Tiny has a variety of sponsorship and donation opportunities available. Sponsorships range from our Title Sponsor to $100 Lunch Sponsor packages.
Donate
The township is also grateful for donations to the silent auction and raffle draws. If your business is looking to reach members of the community in Tiny, this is a great opportunity to get involved.
Township of Tiny Charity Pickleball Tournament
New for 2026, Tiny is expanding our charity funding opportunities by adding a pickleball tournament that will run from August 27 - 30, 2026 at Parkside Park (located in Balm Beach). More information about the pickleball tournament will be announced soon.
“We are excited to welcome everyone to join us for the 16th charity golf tournament back at the beautiful Orr Lake Golf Club,” said Mayor David Evans. “We’re also looking forward to starting a brand-new tradition of a pickleball tournament which will increase the funding support available for non-profits and charities in our region. We will continue to focus on small, local charities with the funding from both tournaments. These local charities are deeply rooted in our community and are best suited to reach people in need across North Simcoe.”
Local charities and not-for-profits are encouraged to apply for funding from both tournaments. To apply for funding, register, or learn more about the events, visit our website at www.tiny.ca/CharityTournaments.
