(Tiny, Ontario) The Township of Tiny will be hosting our annual Tree Lighting Celebration on Friday, December 5, 2025. The community is invited to kickoff the holiday season with family and friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Perkinsfield Park (43 County Road 6 South). The official tree lighting will take place at approximately 6:15 p.m.

The township will be collecting non-perishable food donations on behalf of the Georgian Bay Food Network which will be distributed throughout the community to those in need ahead of the holiday season.

In addition to the tree lighting, the evening’s festivities include holiday music, free photos with Santa, seasonal treats such as hot cocoa, cookies, and s’mores by the bonfire, and an array of activities for children and families.

“Our annual Tree Lighting Celebration marks the kickoff to the festive season in Tiny,” said Mayor David Evans. “This year, we are very excited to unveil the newest addition to Perkinsfield Park, a 12 ft tall White Spruce that will be shining bright when we turn on the lights. We hope you’ll join us for a fun-filled evening and take the opportunity to visit with friends, family, and of course, Santa.”

The Township of Tiny would like to recognize the generous contributions of our community sponsors and partners. Thank you Lafontaine Iron Werks for loaning the fire pits and the Midland Public Library, Springwater Public Library, and the Severn Sound Environmental Association (SSEA) for providing family-friendly activities.
