
(Tiny, Ontario) Calling all scientists in Tiny! The Township of Tiny is pleased to offer a free virtual family science workshop, in partnership with Scientists in School, for Family Day.

Scientists in School is a leading national science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education charity. The virtual science workshops are led by dynamic presenters who are experts in their fields. The curriculum-enhancing workshops enrich learning and bring real-world science and engineering into the hands of budding scientists. Scientists in School ignites educational curiosity in children so that they question intelligently, learn through discovery and connect scientific knowledge to their world.

Registrations include a mini science bag, suitable for families with children ages 4 to 12 years old (children under 6 may require the assistance of an adult). Workshops are facilitated through Microsoft Teams. Registration is limited and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Note that the Township does not participate in program development or delivery.
