TAKE NOTICE that the Township of Tiny will be performing ditching and brushing maintenance activities over the fall season in various locations throughout the township.
Ditching refers to the regrading and movement of material in a ditch. These activities are done periodically as a general maintenance tool to ensure water drains away from the roadway. Over time material such as winter sand can build up in the ditch and impede the flow of water.
Brushing refers to the trimming of grass, trees, and bushes along roadways. Brushing maintenance is important to ensure sightlines are free and clear of visual barriers for vehicle and pedestrian safety.
If you see crews working on ditching or brushing maintenance please pass the equipment with caution. The township appreciates your patience during this time as we work on these improvements.
