(Tiny, Ontario) Each year, the Township of Tiny Education Bursary Program assists students who are entering their post-secondary studies, including courses and training programs of a technical and vocational nature.

There are five bursaries available in the amount of $1,000 each. Students who reside in the Township of Tiny are eligible to apply. Approved applicants are not based upon scholastic standing, but rather on their volunteer work and successful admission status to a post-secondary institution leading to a recognized degree, diploma, or certificate.

Applications must be submitted online no later than 4:30 p.m. on May 1, 2026, at www.tiny.ca/bursary. Applications received after the due date will not be eligible.

Bursary applications are anonymously vetted by a selection committee and scored based on set criteria, consisting of the following four categories: volunteer experience, essay response, post-secondary education acceptance and program, and completeness/comprehension of the application.

“The Township of Tiny is now accepting applications for our 2026 education bursary program,” said Mayor David Evans. “There are five bursaries available to students beginning their path toward post-secondary education for degree, diploma, or certificate programs. We are proud to make this annual investment into the youth of our community, and I encourage all of our eligible students to apply.”

The Township of Tiny wishes to make this process easy for applicants. For additional clarification or assistance with an application, please contact the township or visit www.tiny.ca/bursary.
