November 1 to 7, 2023, is Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week. Carbon monoxide (CO) is a poisonous gas that is colourless, odourless, and tasteless. Having a CO alarm and testing it regularly is important. Some CO alarm models may be built into your smoke detector so you can check both simultaneously, others will be a separate alarm.
