Education Bursary Program

Each year, the Township of Tiny Bursary Program assists students who are entering their very first year of their first program of post-secondary education, including courses and training programs of a technical and vocational nature.

There are five bursaries available in the amount of $1,000 each. Children of permanent and seasonal taxpayers in the Township of Tiny are eligible to apply. Approved applicants are not based upon scholastic standing, but rather on the successful admission status to a post-secondary institution leading to a recognized degree, diploma, or certificate.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Applicants must be entering their very first year of their first program of post-secondary education.
  • Applicants can only be awarded this bursary once.
  • Both the applicant and their parent/legal guardian must be residents of the Township of Tiny.

Applications must be submitted online no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026. Applications received after the due date will not be eligible.

Bursary applications are anonymously vetted by a Selection Committee and scored based on set criteria, consisting of the following three categories: volunteer experience, essay response, and completeness/comprehension.
