Please be advised that the Lefaive Drinking Water System will be on a precautionary “Boil Water Advisory” immediately.

Residents within the Lefaive Drinking Water System will need to boil their water until the township lifts this advisory. If residents experience discoloured water, it is recommended to flush the taps (preferably outside or in a laundry sink) for 15 minutes to help clear up any discolouration. 

It is recommended to use an alternate water supply or boil your water at a rolling boil for a least one minute before using the water for:
 

  • Drinking
  • Gargling
  • brushing teeth or rinsing mouths
  • making baby food or formula
  • washing dishes
  • washing fruits, vegetables, and other food
  • making any meals, drinks, or ice

The township will hand deliver notices to affected residents regarding the lifting of this advisory. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding regarding this matter.
