The Township of Tiny and Awenda Provincial Park are working together to help the turtle population in Tiny. 

Concession 18 East/Allport Road is a key turtle crossing area from mid-June to the second week of July. Both Tiny and Awenda are asking drivers to be aware of the anticipated increase in turtle crossings over the next several weeks and to be a good Samaritan and help turtles cross the road in the direction they are heading. Sightings should be reported immediately to Awenda staff at 705-549-2231 ext. 0. 

Thank you for your assistance in helping to protect turtles in Tiny by exercising additional caution on the roads in the area.
