(Tiny, Ontario) The Township of Tiny is developing a 2027 Through the Seasons community calendar, set to be released in November 2026. The calendar will be available both online and in print, featuring municipal programs and services, community organization events, public notices, seasonal reminders, recreation events, local initiatives, and business promotions. In addition to serving as a practical household resource, the calendar will create additional opportunities for community engagement and local economic support.

As part of this program, we are seeking submissions for original photographs and artwork from local artists and providing affordable advertising opportunities for businesses. Submissions for photographs/artwork and advertising space will be open until Friday, September 4, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. Advertising space is limited. Businesses are encouraged to purchase dates early to save their spot.

Photograph and Artwork Submissions

Submissions are now open for members of the community to submit original photographs and artwork that showcase the natural beauty, culture, heritage, recreation, and community spirit of Tiny. Selected submissions will be featured throughout the calendar, with contributors receiving recognition in the publication.

Advertising Opportunities

Businesses will have the opportunity to purchase calendar date advertisements to promote, events, services, anniversaries, community initiatives, and sales. Advertising rates will begin at $50 plus HST per date, providing a cost-effective way for businesses to connect directly with residents.

“Our new community calendar is an exciting opportunity to celebrate everything that makes Tiny special,” said Mayor David Evans. “This program will help support local businesses and showcase the incredible talent, events, and organizations that contribute to the vibrancy of our community throughout the year.”

More information about the calendar distribution will be shared through the Township of Tiny’s website and social media channels closer to the launch date.
