Temporary Road Closures – Canada Day Celebration in Balm Beach

TAKE NOTICE that there will be multiple temporary road closures in the Balm Beach area to facilitate the Canada Day Celebration. The temporary road closures will be in effect from Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 5:00 a.m. to Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.

A full closure will be in effect at Tiny Beaches Road North and Balm Beach Road West at the Balm Beach business area. This area will be open to emergency services traffic only.

Several roads will be closed to local traffic only, meaning that only residents that live in these areas can access the following locations: 

  • Mann Street between Balm Beach Road West and Bruce Street
  • Third Street between Winterset Avenue and Bruce Street
  • Fourth Street between Winterset Avenue and Balm Beach Road West
  • Maple Road between Balm Beach Road West and Bruce Street
  • Lesperance Road between Winterset Avenue and Balm Beach Road West
  • Parkside Drive – access is available only on Tiny Beaches Road North and will not be accessible from Balm Beach Road West.

Detours include the use of Balm Beach Road West, Winterset Avenue, Bruce Street, Oliver Drive, Tiny Beaches Road North, and Tiny Beaches Road South. 

Detour access routes: 

  • To access Tiny Beaches Road North or Oliver Drive from Balm Beach Road West, follow the detour route that is colour coded orange on the map 
  • To access Balm Beach Road West from Tiny Beaches Road North or Oliver Drive, follow the detour route that is colour coded yellow on the map 
  • To access Tiny Beaches Road North or Oliver Drive from Tiny Beaches Road South, follow the detour route that is colour coded pink on the map

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes during this time. Drivers are asked to exercise caution in the area and obey traffic control personnel and signage.
