TAKE NOTICE that the Township of Tiny will be undertaking various reconstruction and resurfacing work on several roads throughout the municipality.
Construction will be carried out in stages, which include pulverizing the existing surface, placing and grading new gravel, fine grading, paving, topping up gravel driveways, repaving asphalt driveways, and completing granular shoulders. The full construction process for each road is expected to take approximately six weeks, beginning with pulverization and concluding with the installation of granular shoulders.
Construction is scheduled to take place between approximately mid-August to October between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Construction schedules are subject to change on occasion due to weather or other factors.
The following roads are scheduled to be completed this year, as seen on the map on page two of this notice:
- Champlain Road between Glendale Road and Concession 17 East
- Macavalley Road between Concession 16 East and #280 Macavalley Road
- Robb's Road between Macavalley Road and Champlain Road
- Baseline Road North between Balm Beach Road East to the North Limit
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes during this time. Drivers are asked to exercise caution in the area and obey traffic control personnel and signage.
