Join us for a two-part presentation focused on helping older adults stay informed, healthy, and independent. In the first session, April Le Blanc, Community Health Ambassador with Chigamik Community Health Centre, will introduce the Community Health Ambassador program and explain how it helps residents navigate the health care system, access primary care, and connect with valuable health and social services. Attendees will also learn about the free programs, resources, and supports available through Chigamik to help enhance well-being and quality of life.

In the second session, Lori Ververs, Registered Kinesiologist with the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) and the Simcoe County SMART Program, will share practical information on fall prevention and healthy aging. Learn key strategies for maintaining independence, reducing fall risk, and improving confidence in everyday activities. The presentation will also highlight the important role exercise plays in building strength, mobility, and balance, helping older adults stay active and safely on their feet. Whether you're looking to better understand available community health supports or learn ways to maintain your independence, this informative session offers valuable tools for healthy aging.
